Use the 7-yard. It is our heavy container built for clean loads of concrete, dirt, and brick, and clean concrete or dirt goes to a recycling plant, so there is no landfill weight charge on it.
What if I pick the wrong size?
Just call Tony before you book. Tell him the project and he will point you to the right size in about ten seconds. When in doubt, size up. It costs less than paying for a second haul.
What size do I need for a kitchen or bathroom remodel?
A 13-yard covers most single-room remodels once the cabinets, counters, flooring, and drywall come out. A kitchen and a bathroom running at the same time pushes you to a 17. The exception is a tiled shower pan or a mortar bed, which is dense enough to need a 7-yard alongside.
What size do I need for a roof tear-off?
The 7-yard, regardless of how the shingles look stacked on the ground. Shingles are dense, so weight fills that container long before volume does. On a larger roof, plan a second 7-yard rather than overloading one.
How many pickup truck loads is a 13-yard?
Roughly forty. One yard is about three truck loads, which is the math that usually decides it once you add the fuel, the scale fees, and the weekend.
